Theatre
The Plano ArtCentre Theatre strives to offer; quality performances, unbeatable pricing, and an intimate theatre setting. The theatre is a restored historic downtown building. In the 1880 and 1890’s Plano had several opera house. Most were located on the second floor of buildings over businesses. On this site an opera house was opened over Kendricks agricultural implement store but after a fire in 1905, the city built the civic auditorium on H Avenue. This theatre offers a wide range of entertainment from national art exhibits to vocal and theatre performances. Teatro delle Muse is the current resident company for The ArtCentre Theatre..
