The Locked OUT Comedy High School League is an improv training program for high school students.
In this High School League, students will learn the basics of improvised comedy from our professional improvisational instructors. Each High School Team will be assigned a Locked OUT Comedy Head Coach. Each Head Coach will partner up with an Assistant Coach. [Teacher or Student]

IMPROV SCRIMMAGE SHOWCASE
Scrimmage Benefits and Rules

• Each student must register online at screenfxacademy.com and pay a $25.00 registration fee before performing in the showcase.

• Each student will receive a free ticket for a family member or friend to the showcase in which they are performing. Additional tickets may be purchased online or at the door for $5.00 each.

• Each team will receive instruction one hour before each showcase to insure that all team members are familiar with the competitive games that will be played during the showcase.

• In addition to the one hour before-showcase instruction, each team will have access to an online instructional video one week prior to the showcase date.

• Each team will receive one free ticket for a representative from the participating school.

• All school teams must compete in a minimum of 3 showcases in order to be eligible for the Playoff in April 2011. The location will be disclosed at a later date.

• All competitors must be full time students enrolled in the 9th grade or higher, of the school they represent and are subject to the academic and disciplinary requirements of that school.

• If a player has signed up and paid the registration fee for a particular showcase date but cannot perform, a substitute player may attend and perform in the showcase.

• If a school does not have at least four players, Locked Out Comedy provides opportunities for growth by allowing groups to compete through Composite Teams (formed by 4 players representing two or more schools)

• If a high school has more than 4 players who wish to be included in the showcase, a second improv team may be formed. If there are not enough players to form another team, the additional players may join a composite team.

• Locked Out Comedy and ScreenFX Academy provide family-friendly competition. Any inappropriate conduct or language as determined by the Locked OUT Comedy referees will disqualify a player from the competition.
